Erin Hanrahan: 2nd 800m
Lynn Vermeer: 2nd 80m hurdles, 2nd 300m hurdles
Lorna O Shea: 1st 80m hurdles, 3rd Long jump
Rachel O Shea: 1st Triple jump
Caoimhe Power: 2nd 100m
Inter Relay: Lynn Vermeer, Lorna O Shea, Caoimhe Power, Erin Hanrahan 3rd
Miriam Daly: 1st 400m hurdles
Rachel Walsh: 2nd Triple jump

Great emphasis is placed on physical education at Scoil Mhuire. We fully appreciate the valuable role that physical education plays in the social, mental and physical well being of our pupils. All pupils have an 80 minute weekly PE class delivered by a qualified PE teacher. We benefit from having our own astro-turf, playing field and two sports halls.

 

Due to strong links with local sports bodies we have access to the Sean Kelly S.C. swimming pool, Carrick-on-Suir Athletics Club track and local gyms.
